THE STORY
After years in the media biz, Adrian Bishop decided to follow his true love of animation and bring amazingly talented animators together to produce the types of projects they really wanted to work on. So, in 2007 he founded BLOOM and started his mission to change the Colorado animation industry and make Denver a hub for media creation and production.
With his background in production for broadcast and interactive media, Adrian saw an opportunity to take advantage of the changing landscape of media production and delivery. He began to tap the remarkable animation talent in the Rocky Mountain area, who brought with them experience in creating high profile TV commercials, shows and feature films, having worked for PBS, Fox, Disney, Cartoon Network, ILM.
Bloom currently works with top Denver agencies and has pitched show concepts at Cartoon Network and Nickelodeon.

Ed Kramer
Before moving to Denver, Visual Effects artist Ed Kramer spent 12 years as Senior Technical Director at Industrial Light + Magic, doing CGI lighting and effects work for STAR WARS Episodes I, II, and III, as well as such classics as Jumanji, The Perfect Storm, Harry Potter II, Twister, Van Helsing, Herbie Fully Loaded, and Jurassic Park II: The Lost World.
He developed the techniques and supervised the "Scarab Beetle" shots in The Mummy and The Mummy Returns, the "Rock Monster" shots in Galaxy Quest, the "Droid Factory" shots for Episode II: Attack of the Clones, and did lighting and creature development work for the "Kraken" from OSCAR-winner Pirates of the Caribbean 2.
Prior to ILM, he worked on Stargate and Clear and Present Danger, and animated the "Lady with a Torch" logo seen at the beginning of every Columbia Pictures movie.
Before his film career, Ed worked as Senior Animator at Post Production facilities in New York, Hollywood and Atlanta, and spent a year animating for the space program at NASA in Houston. In Denver he worked on projects for game developer Ubisoft and a 2-hour special for the Discovery Channel, as well as doing CGI modeling and animating for cutting-edge Simulators designed to train surgeons on the latest surgical techniques.
