THE PEOPLE
THE STORY
After years in the media biz, Adrian Bishop decided to follow his true love of animation and bring amazingly talented animators together to produce the types of projects they really wanted to work on. So, in 2007 he founded BLOOM and started his mission to change the Colorado animation industry and make Denver a hub for media creation and production.
With his background in production for broadcast and interactive media, Adrian saw an opportunity to take advantage of the changing landscape of media production and delivery. He began to tap the remarkable animation talent in the Rocky Mountain area, who brought with them experience in creating high profile TV commercials, shows and feature films, having worked for PBS, Fox, Disney, Cartoon Network, ILM.
Bloom currently works with top Denver agencies and has pitched show concepts at Cartoon Network and Nickelodeon.

His story...

Kari is a Coloradan
But that doesn't necessarily mean that she’s a health nut, fervent skier or finds marathon training addicting. Well... actually it does.
Early on, she studied Photography and Environmental Design at Art Center. Through her time there, she crafted her skills and began creating superb environments and images using distinctive lighting techniques.
After Art Center, she directed her professional career towards freelance photography, focusing on stills for motion pictures, products, artful environments and abstract fine art portraiture for clients around the LA area.
In 1997 she returned to Colorado and launched a custom photo lab, specializing in high-end photo restoration and digital work. Through this she discovered her passion for managing and producing large scale multimedia projects. Her firm quickly gained clients such as Subaru, John Elway, US Air Force, Sandia and NREL.
Most recently, Kari has been managing and fulfilling multi-million dollar media projects for the federal government. She is passionate about developing people and processes, to insure creative projects succeed financially and produce inspired teams and clients.
After her time in the public sector, Kari turned her sights on the flourishing creative industry in Denver. Soon she met Adrian Bishop, Founder of BLOOM and joined the animated film world in 2009. As Vice President of Operations and Producer, she brings an energetic pace, love for design and a wealth of experience in large-scale production management to the team.
